The Goldstein Group Places Several Food Markets Throughout New Jersey

President Chuck Lanyard of The Goldstein Group, a provider of retail real estate services in Paramus, announced it has placed several independently owned food markets throughout New Jersey.

“Due to the bankruptcy of A&P, we have seen an abundant amount of interest from independently owned & operated supermarkets to open in areas where A&P or Pathmark previously had stores,” noted Lanyard.

In Wayne, Wayne Farmers Market filled a 36,000 sf space at 600 Valley Road. Neighboring tenants at the location include Verizon, Dunkin Donuts, Subway, PNC Bank, Harmon, and The UPS Store. The landlord of the property is Urstadt Biddle. Executive Vice President, Lew Finkelstein, and Vice President, CJ Huter, represented the tenant.

In Passaic, Central Fresh Market leased a 12,000 sf space at Capitol Plaza on Central Avenue. The strip center is located in a densely populated marketplace with abundant on-site parking and heavy pedestrian foot traffic. The landlord of the property is Lefcourt Associates. Vice President, Donald Goldstein, represented both the landlord and tenant.

In Nutley, Nutley’s Farmers Market leased a 14,700 sf space at 364 Centre Street. The location is in the heart of the central business district. Neighboring tenants include Wells Fargo, Chase Bank, Allstate Insurance, Edible Arrangements, AT&T, and Elements Spa. The landlord of the property is MCP Associates.
