Freshpet, Inc. Added to Russell Indices

Secaucus- based Freshpet, Inc. – a “fresh, natural” pet food company for dogs and cats – announces its stock has been added to the Russell 3000 Index and the Russell 2000 Index.

The Russell Indices provide a comprehensive and unbiased barometer for evaluating stock performance in the U.S. and world-wide equity markets and are completely reconstituted annually to ensure new and growing equities are reflected.

“We are pleased to be added to the Russell Indices,” said Richard Thompson, Freshpet’s Chief Executive Officer. “We expect our addition to the Russell Indices will help increase our visibility within the investment community and we look forward to continuing to execute on our strategic growth initiatives long-term.”

Initial public offerings are added to the Russell Indices on a quarterly basis.
