CSBK Opens Hoboken Banking Center

CSBK (Clifton Savings Bank) today announced the official opening of its Hoboken Banking Center and its plans to open a new banking center in Montclair.

Tricia Hrotko, executive vice president and chief revenue officer at CSBK, stated, “As we approach the two-year mark as a fully public company, we are pleased to announce the opening of our Hoboken location and plans for another full-service location in Montclair. As part of our overall banking center plan, each location embodies every aspect of our organic growth strategy: a diverse, densely populated city/town where there is a desire for authentic, local community banking; an open, modern and inviting space allowing for a more personable interaction with our customers; and purposefully placed technology to assist clients with everyday banking needs and communicate our unique product and service features. In addition, our new, and existing, banking centers are now staffed by Client Service Specialists who are adept at serving our customers on whatever matter brought them into the Bank – thus obliterating the functional dividing line between transactions and account service needs.”

The Hoboken Banking Center is at 1470 Garden Street at the corner of 15th, within Park + Garden multi-use residential and commercial development by Bijou Properties. Initial hours of operation will be Monday through Friday 8AM – 6PM and Saturdays 9AM to 1PM; there is a 24/7 ATM available. Additional amenities that will be added in the coming months include “By Appointment Only” hours as well as the opportunity to receive a one-hour parking validation for scheduled appointments at the Hudson Tea Garage located across the street. Grand opening festivities are being planned for Spring 2016.

CSBK’s Montclair Banking Center will be located within “Valley & Bloom,” 638 Bloomfield Avenue at the corner of Valley Road. The mixed-use development consists of two six-story buildings with 258 residential units, 24,500 square feet of office space and 25,500 square feet of retail space developed by Pinnacle Properties and operated by LCor Residential. There is also a planned 2nd phase, which includes “The “MC,” a 148-room boutique hotel and surrounding public spaces. Montclair is home to approximately 37,000 residents and is a unique combination of an urban, suburban and a college town – offering a wide variety of restaurants, shops, arts and music venues – plus easy access to NYC via NJ Transit Rail & Bus.

CSBK has leased a 2,400 sq. ft. space which includes a separate ATM area. A firm date for the start of construction is not yet available, although CSBK has completed its design phase and has nearly finished construction drawings.
