Advertising Hall of Fame of NJ Announces Inductees

The New Jersey Advertising Club is proud to announce the 2015 inductees for the Advertising Hall of Fame of New Jersey: Donald Christensen, partner and co-founder, Christensen Tamburri Communications, LLC; Karen Gozzi, vice president, corporate advertising, Wakefern Food Corp.; Amy Lear, vice president, advertising, New Jersey Newspaper Network; and Sandra Schler, senior market manager, American Cancer Society. Inductees will be honored at a gala awards ceremony November 19th at the High Lawn Pavilion in West Orange.

This honor is bestowed annually on professionals who have made significant lasting contributions to the advertising industry in New Jersey. Criteria used to evaluate if an individual qualifies for the Hall of Fame include the extent to which they have demonstrated creativity and professional integrity, a person’s contributions in philanthropy, the extent to which they have made an economic contribution, their achievements at a state and national level, and their involvement in New Jersey’s advertising and/or marketing communications community. A nominee must also have been actively engaged in advertising, marketing or communications for at least 20 years; a substantial portion of which must have been in New Jersey.

“This is the way we can give back and recognize those individuals who have made such an impact on the advertising industry in New Jersey,” said Jeff Horn, Immediate Past President of the NJ Ad Club and Advertising Hall of Fame co-chair.

“The New Jersey Ad Club represents the best of the best in the industry, and it is our honor to be able to recognize our colleagues who motivate and inspire us,” said Franco Zito, President of the NJ Ad Club.
